What data we collect
We collect your business email address and name when you sign up. When you connect integrations (Paystack, bank accounts, Shopify, WhatsApp), we receive transaction data from those services to power your dashboard. We collect usage data (pages visited, features used) to improve the product.
How we use your data
Your financial data is used solely to provide the BlueLedger service: calculating your profit, tracking tax obligations, and generating insights. We never use your financial data to train AI models without your explicit consent. We never sell your data to third parties. We never share your data with advertisers.
Data storage and security
All data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.3 and at rest using AES-256. Our infrastructure is hosted on enterprise-grade cloud providers with SOC 2 Type II certification. We conduct regular security audits and penetration testing. Access to production data is restricted to authorised engineers only and fully logged.
Your rights
You have the right to access all data we hold about you, export it in a machine-readable format, request correction of inaccurate data, and delete your account and all associated data at any time. Third-party integrations
When you connect Paystack, your bank, or Shopify, those services have their own privacy policies that govern the data they hold. BlueLedger only accesses the minimum data required to power your dashboard (transaction amounts, dates, descriptions). We do not access your Paystack dashboard, banking credentials, or any data beyond what you explicitly authorise.
